It is ultimately the responsibility of employers and business leaders to make the decisions on – or put in place the structures that will determine – the pay policies that will affect the rates of inequality in society.

Whether this is done by implementing ‘Living Wage‘ policies, making incremental improvements in an organisations pay ratio, reforming the structure and practice of the remuneration decision-making process, or by other means, there is an opportunity for all sectors to consider what should be best practice.
